Yae Miko’s combat depends almost entirely around her use of Saura Fox Turrets, so you’ll want to level her up around that ability. Her primary skill is her Elemental Skill, thus that should be her priority.

After you’ve improved her Elemental Skill, you can concentrate on her Elemental Burst, which is decent but not as great as her Skill. After you’ve levelled up both of those, you can improve her Normal Strike, which is her weakest point in the battle.

You’ll want to start with her Saura Fox Turrets because they’re responsible for the most, if not all, of her damage. When you first put her out on the battlefield, use her Elemental Skill 3 times, then Elemental Burst once.

Miko will be out of power and in her cooldown phase at this point, so replace her with another member of your team – but don’t worry, her Electro Catalyst can continue to deliver damage to foes off-field.

A Healer should also be a part of a Yae Miko squad; Qiqi, Barbara, or even Noelle will suffice. This is true for all squads in Impact, but rather because Yae Miko only gives massive bursts of damage, you’ll want her to stay alive, something she won’t be able to achieve on her own.

She is at her best when she’s working as part of a team with Raiden Shogun, who is also her best friend off the field. Because both females’ element is Electro, this helps her keep a battery around, and their talents complement each other because Raiden Shogun’s Normal Strike is fairly strong. If you don’t have Raiden Shogun, Fischl, another powerful Electro-user, can be used instead.
