Chasm might appear in Genshin Impact 2.6
With the ongoing beta test of the 2.6 version, fans have been kept busy as data miners continue to reveal more Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks. The recent revelations come from a reliable leaker which informs that players might have to wait more for the Dendro element.
The livestream of the upcoming version is just few hours away, however, Travelers seem to be getting more excited regarding Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks. Kamisato Ayato’s banner is more or less confirmed as authentic sources disclosed his appearance. Apart from that, some sources have indicated that after Enkanomiya, a new region is waiting for the Travelers.

Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks: The Chasm, Dendro element and more
Several travelers went to explore the underwater island, Enkanomiya that was made accessible in the 2.4 update. However, players are always active regarding the exploration of new places. As a consequence, their excitement for the region named Chasm seems to accelerate day by day.
The recent Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks given by UBatcha on his Twitter handle have informed the Travelers that Chasm is likely to appear in the 2.6 update. This contradicts the earlier statements given by some sources which suggested that Chasm will be seen in 2.7 or 2.8 versions.
Travelers who have been playing Genshin Impact for a long time might be aware that only a certain fragment of Chasm is currently open to the players. The undisclosed area is situated in the western part of Lisha in Liyue and has been referred to previously by some of the characters as an area that his rich mining sources.
The Chasm will be situated close to the Sumeru region, a major nation of Teyvat whose secrets are yet to be known. On the other hand, it is important to note that Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks given by UBatcha clearly state that the Dendro element will not be seen in The Chasm.
Dendro is the eighth and last element of the game which is most likely to be introduced with the arrival of Sumeru since the region is filled with huge trees and natural vegetation. Contrary to the other elements, Dendro derives its powers from the natural elements. Some of the possible Dendro characters known until now:
- Yaoyao
- Beizhou
Both of these characters have made a minor appearance in the Teyvat storyline discussed until now. Many players also believe that Yaoyao who is acquainted with Qiqi might be given for free once Sumeru is released. The release date of Sumeru is scheduled in the 3.0 version, however, nothing can be confirmed at this point.
