On the famous Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, an interesting post reveals a list of popular leakers and their upcoming material leaks. Most reliable leakers, such as Uncle Chasm, have confirmed the arrival of a five-star character named Yelan in version 2.7.

Yelan’s model was unveiled in the 2.6 betas, but no information about her kit was provided, indicating that she will most likely feature in the main tale of Genshin Impact. Genshin Impact version 2.7 should arrive on May 15, according to the game’s typical update timetable.

Yelan’s model shows that she will be using a bow, and she is said to be a possessor of Hydro vision. After Childe, she would be the second character to have this weapon-element combination. When it comes to Yelan’s function in a squad, the leakers appear to be split.

While some suggest Yelan will be a new Genshin DPS character, others claim she would play a supporting role. Some speculations also indicate she will be specific support for the incoming character Ayato. Kamisato Ayato has been confirmed to appear with two banner re-runs in the upcoming Genshin version 2.6.

Yelan is also likely to debut with two new Genshin Impact banner re-runs, Arataki Itto and Yoimiya, according to numerous sources. Even while re-runs for a particular character are normally released every five updates, Itto appears to be arriving considerably sooner.
