Genshin Impact announces Phase 2 banners

HoYoverse has announced the second set of banners for the 3.0 update that got released a couple of weeks earlier. With an all-new element, players are looking forward to pulling new characters on their team, and with Ganyu and Kokomi rerun in Genshin Impact, players can hope to make an effective addition to their party.

Both of the characters are having their third reruns on the game and this time with an all new region to explore. Given their exceptional damage stats or healing abilities, players should hesitate on pulling on the new banners.

The developers took to Twitter earlier today to announce that the current banner of Tighnari and Zhongli will be removed from the game and Ganyu and Kokomi rerun in Genshin Impact will be replacing them. These new banners will be available from tomorrow i.e. on 9th September, which implies players have the last chance to pull for Zhongli today.

Tighnari, on the other hand will be added to the standard banner from the 3.1 update as he is the first Dendro character of the game. Players can, therefore, save their primogems later as Tighnari will become a permanent character in the game.

As for Ganyu and Kokomi rerun in Genshin Impact, both of the characters have had their reruns recently with both receiving massive sales during their release but it seems that on this update as well, players won’t hesitate to pull for these banners as it brings the 4-star character, Dori along with two popular 4-star characters-

  • Xingqiu (Hydro)
  • Sucrose (Anemo)

The best Hydro support, Xingqiu is a crucial addition on Cryo teams specially if players are running a main DPS character like Ganyu or Ayaka. On the other hand, Sucrose is a powerful Anemo user who can provide effective crowd control on Spiral Abyss with her elemental burst ability.

The highlight of Ganyu and Kokomi rerun in Genshin Impact is the Electro character Dori who is quite fun to play with, as shown in her gameplay videos. Moreover, she is the second Electro healer in the game after Kuki Shinobu who can effectively use the infamous weapon ‘The Bell’, compelling many players to pull for her.
