Genshin Impact 2.5 banner leaks: MiHoYo has finally given the date for Genshin Impact 2.5 livestream for all the regions. Players have been ardently waiting for the character banners as they have been farming primogems for the upcoming character Yae Miko. Genshin Impact 2.5 banner leaks revealed that Yae Miko will be the first banner of the new update.

Character banners have always excited the Genshin Impact community as owning a new character means being able to use their unique powers and defeat the enemies to reach higher adventure ranks. While Yae Miko’s arrival is awaited by the fans, they are equally excited to see which new weapons and rerun characters make their way in the next update.

Genshin Impact 2.5 banner leaks

The livestream date of Genshin Impact version 2.5 has been kept at 4th February 2022. The livestream will be longer than the previous ones since the developers will be organizing a Genshin Impact concert. While Yae Miko was confirmed already, players might want to know the rerun characters and weapon banners. As usual, the update will see the release of banners in two phases. Here is what we know so far as per Genshin Impact 2.5 banner leaks.

Yae Miko (First character banner)

The first phase of the upcoming update will see the banner of Electro 5 star character, Yae Miko and Genshin Impact 2.5 banner leaks state that, unlike the current update which saw the rerun banner of Xiao along with Shenhe’s release, it is unlikely that Yae Miko’s character banner will run along with other 5-star character banner.

A prominent Genshin Impact leaker, Lumie has given a cryptic hint about the 4 star characters that will feature in Yae’s banner. These leaks are however, subjected to change.

  • Fischl banner rerun

Weapon banner

Weapon banners are also ardently waited upon by the players. As usual, a new weapon will be released which will be a signature weapon of the upcoming character, Yae Miko. As of now, the weapons that could be seen in the banners are:

Kagura’s Verity
  • Kagura’s Verity
  • Primordial Jade Cutter

Both of the mentioned weapons have a 5-star rarity and players would certainly not miss their chance of pulling these weapons. Kagura’s Verity is the signature weapon of Yae Miko who is an Electro catalyst. Data miners revealed that the weapon received several buffs that could enhance the DMG potential of the character.

Raiden Shougun and Kokomi (Second character banner)

Contrary to the previous suggestions, Kokomi will be seen in the place of Kazuha, in the character banner that will be released in the second phase of the update. It is also important to note that MiHoYo has not confirmed anything regarding Kokomi’s rerun. If Kokomi makes a return in the game, then Kazuha’s rerun might be pushed back to the 2.7 update.

On the other hand, Raiden Shougun’s rerun banner seems likely since she is acquainted with Yae Miko. She will also provide great support to the Catalyst user. Overall, Genshin Impact 2.5 banner leaks suggest that the story will revolve around the characters of Inazuma.
