Genshin Impact 2.5 banner schedule: The special program hosted by the developers for the 2.5 update livestream revealed the much-needed information regarding the upcoming Electro character, Yae Miko, and also informed about Genshin Impact 2.5 banner schedule which will see the character banner of Yae Miko and reruns of Raiden Shougun and Kokomi. Since the upcoming update focuses on the Inazuma region, players shouldn’t miss their chance on pulling for these 5-star characters. The 2.5 update is almost a week away and here we have mentioned the release dates of the new and returning characters.

Since the 2.3 update of Genshin Impact, MiHoYo had started releasing dual banners in two different phases of the update. The 2.4 update had also brought Shenhe and Xiao in the first phase whereas the second phase of the update saw the banners of Ganyu and Zhongli. The upcoming update named “When the Sakura bloom” is scheduled to arrive on February 16th and the Genshin Impact 2.5 banner schedule is mentioned below.

First Phase- Yae Miko and weapons

As previously stated, Yae Miko does not have a concurrent banner which means she will be the only character banner in the first phase of the 2.5 update. Although the 4 star characters releasing with Yae Miko have not been confirmed by the developers, players will most likely see these characters-

  • Thoma
  • Diona
  • Fischl

For the weapon banner in Genshin Impact 2.5 banner schedule, it is certain that Yae Miko’s signature weapon, Kagura’s Verity will be available in the weapon banner. Kagura’s Verity is a Catalyst weapon with 5 star rarity that will be released on February 16th,2022 along with Yae Miko’s banner, Astute Amusement.

The first character banner of the 2.5 update contains 2 Electro characters- Yae Miko and Fischl. Fischl will be an excellent support for 5 star Electro characters. On the other hand, having Diona will also be beneficial if players lack an instant healer in their team. Thoma can be an alternate option for Pyro characters.

Second Phase- Raiden Shougun and Sangonomiya Kokomi

If MiHoYo continues with the 21 day banner schedule, it is expected that the second phase of Genshin Impact 2.5 banner schedule will be released on March 9,2022. The second phase will bring back Raiden Shougun and Kokomi. The other 4 star characters are unknown as of now.

Raiden Shougun also referred to as Ei is a 5 star Electro DPS character who hails from the Inazuma region. It has also been revealed that a weekly boss of Raiden will be available in the 2.5 update. She is one of the best character for energy recharge as well as has a powerful combat ability.

On the other hand, Sangonomiya Kokomi is one of the best healers in the game. Similar to Yae Miko, she is a Catalyst user blessed with the Hydro vision. We recommend pulling for her, if you lack a healer in the game, although it is important to note that she isn’t versatile like other healers such as Bennet.
