The second phase of the current Genshin Impact update went live few days ago with Zhongli and Ganyu’s rerun banners. This reveals that we have taken a further step towards the upcoming update. Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks have predicted the livestream date, banner schedules and other necessary information.
Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks started to gain significance even before the 2.4 update could be rolled out. Much to the delight of the players, some revelations were also confirmed by MiHoYo such as the 5-star Electro character, Yae Miko. While she is the central attraction of the next update, leaks regarding the new weekly bosses and banner schedules have equally pumped up the excitement of the players.

Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks: Livestream date, banner schedule and more revealed
MiHoYo releases a new update for the immensely popular RPG, Genshin Impact, after every 42 days. Players highly look forward to each update due to the arrival of new characters, regions as well as stronger enemies. As the beta test has already been concluded, we have summarized every Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks revealed so far. As of now, it is expected that the next update will arrive on 16th February,2022 if the previous trends are followed.
Livestream date (expected)
MiHoYo releases livestream two weeks prior to every update they release. A lot of content as well as a sneak peek is revealed when the livestream is aired on the official Twitch and YouTube channel of Genshin Impact. Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks have revealed that the livestream could air on 4th February,2022.
The date might also be pushed on to 6th February, although more or less it can be said that the livestream will be available within the first week of February. Players can view the details of the new update around 7 AM or 8 AM ET.
Banner Schedule
Character banners are the most sought-after thing in Genshin Impact as players can shell out their Intertwined Fates to pull for their favorite characters. Many players have been saving their primogems for Electro user Yae Miko who will be the first banner of the 2.5 update. It has also been revealed that Yae will not have any concurrent banner.
The second phase of the banner schedule will feature Raiden Shougun and Sangonomiya Kokomi if we consider the Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks. Shougun’s banner is more or less confirmed since she will be a crucial character for the story.
Free weapon
Travelers can claim the signature weapon of the new character once the banners roll out. Yae Miko’s signature weapon, Kagura’s Verity is said to run along with her banner. Although Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks reveal that a new 4 star weapon will be available for the players which will be provided for free.
Weekly Boss and new enemies
Fan favourite character, Raiden Shougun will appear as a weekly boss in the 2.5 update. From her leaked gameplay, players can imagine that she is going to be a very powerful enemy that will drop materials required for the ascension of Yae as well as Ayato.
The new update will also add enemies named Shadowy Husks that are able to counter characters with shields such as Zhongli and Noelle. Although, leaks revealed that these enemies received nerfs, therefore, they wont provide much trouble.
Event reruns
As the current update brought back the Lantern Rite Event, players are excited to know if any event will make a return in the 2.5 update. It has been revealed that the Hyakunnin Ikki event will get a rerun in the new update. Apart from that, Overflowing events such as Overflowing Mastery or Ley Line overflow might be seen in the update.
