After much anticipation, HoYoverse finally unveiled the Genshin Impact 2.6 banner schedule in the special program of the upcoming update which will the see the release of Kamisato Ayato and add a new area called The Chasm in the game.

Genshin Impact 2.6 banner schedule looks quite intriguing and F2P as well as P2W players will have a hard time with their hardly earned primogems as the first phase of the new update will bring Ayato and Venti together. While the first character’s hype is real, the latter character is also one of the most coveted character in the game. At the second phase, players will be able to see Ayaak, the younger sister of Ayato.

Genshin Impact 2.6 banner schedule

The 2.6 update named “Zephyr of the Violet Garden” will be available to the players by March 30,2022 since the current banner of the game featuring rerun characters- Raiden Shogun and Kokomi are scheduled to end on 29th March. This release date was also confirmed by the developers through their special program held a couple of days before.

According to the Genshin Impact 2.6 banner schedule, players will see a new character and a rerun character in the first phase of the update which is quite a surprise since many players considered that Ayato would not have a concurrent banner. The second phase, will however bring only a single rerun character.

Kamisato Ayato

Kamisato Ayato is the upcoming Hydro character with 5-star rarity. As displayed through leaks, his Hydro abilities is complementary with his sister’s Cryo abilities. His banner is expected to be released around 30 March, i.e. the first day of the 2.6 update.

With the release of Ayato, players will also be able to see his signature weapon, Haran Geppaku Futsu which is highly beneficial for his Normal Attacks. Ayato will also be able to see his signature artifacts named Echoes of an Offering.

The Anemo Archon Barbatos which goes by the name Venti in the game is the first rerun character of Genshin Impact 2.6 banner schedule. Venti’s rerun was somewhat expected by the players due to the leaked Spiral Abyss Anemo DMG bonus of 75%, although players remained confused on Kazuha and Venti rerun. The release date for Venti has been set at March 30,2022.

Ayaka

The last rerun character as per Genshin Impact 2.6 banner schedule is Kamisato Ayaka. Once again her rerun was quite confirmed from the leaks since her synergy goes well with her elder brother. Ayaka is going to have a concurrent banner and is going to be released in the second phase of the 2.6 update.

Considering the 21-day banner cycle of Genshin Impact, players can expected Ayaka’s rerun banner to be released around April 19-20. The 4-star characters of these banners are however unknown, therefore, players should wait for the release of the new update.

Genshin Impact 2.6 update is also going to bring the Irodori festival, a festival focused around the Inazuman nation that will bring most of the Inazuman characters together in a new event. The reward for this event will be Xingqui, a 4-star Hydro character.
