Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks: Kamisato Ayato’s Elemental skill and burst abilities

Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks have provided a lot of information regarding the upcoming content such as story quests, new artifacts, and new characters. Out of all the content, players had been excited to know the 5-star Hydro character’s Elemental skills and burst which will reveal whether he can be called a DPS character or not.
While recent leaks and the official picture showing Hydro infused sword of Kamisato Ayato, suggested him to be a DPS character, some new Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks given by a reliable source named UBatcha has revealed the following information on Kamisato Ayato’s combat abilities which has made fans claim that Ayato might be a Sub DPS character.

- Elemental Skill: Hydro infusion that increases the ATK range of the character as well as AoE
- Elemental Burst: Creates a certain area that will provide constant Hydro DMG as well as increase the ATK speed of the members standing in that area
However, UBatcha has already told the fans that these leaks are questionable and further details regarding his combat abilities can only be known once the beta version is released. Nevertheless, it seems to like Ayato’s combat abilities are going to cover a large area providing constant Hydro DMG. Using Cryo characters such as Ayato or Rosaria will significantly increase the damage output.
A previous Genshin Impact 2.6 leak informed the players that Ayato’s elemental skill will reduce the cooldown time of the team members. Moreover, it throws something towards the enemies and taunts them upon reaching Level 2. It is however important to note that these leaks are still in development.
A subtle drawing released by a leaker that had previously unveiled Yae Miko’s accurate kit had shown the character to swap between his sword and polearm, similar to Raiden Shougun. Since the drawing clearly shows that Ayato’s attacks are infused with Hydro, he might have the potential to become a DPS character.

Moreover, it is highly possible that his abilities could be buffed if the community demands, as a similar incident occurred with Yae Miko whose Electro DMG was heavily buffed.
