Kamisato Ayato is an upcoming Hydro sword character that will be the first character banner in the next update according to the Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks. Players have already been able to see how Ayato performs with his elemental abilities as his entire kit was uncovered through the data files. The 5-star character’s synergy with powerful Cryo users like Ganyu or Ayaka was also visible in his leaked gameplay which displayed the enemies completely frozen for a long period. As a consequence, many players might have been waiting to own this character.

Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks: How strong is Ayato at C6?
Genshin Impact players are already aware about the mechanism of constellation in the game where if you are able to pull the character for the second time, the character will achieve C1. The constellation further scales when players obtain the character frequently and the maximum power is obtained at C6.
As each constellation scales, the obtained character gains a new skill or receives a significant boost to his damage potential. Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks present in the Reddit community displayed Ayato’s gameplay when he attains his maximum constellation.
Players are already aware through the Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks that when Ayato gains his maximum constellation, after using his Elemental skill, his Shunsuiken Attack will create a clone and deal two extra slashes to the opponent dealing the maximum attack to the enemy.
While most players agree that the animations and sound effects of C6 Ayato are impressive, many players believe that the developers should have added more damage or an extra clone considering the maximum constellations of other characters like Xiao.
It is also important to note that these Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks are subjected to change and the developers might make some changes or add buffs to the characters. Considering the current stats of the character, Ayato looks like he is going to be a powerful DPS character.
He can also provide the required Hydro support when he uses his Elemental Burst skill. Ayato’s Elemental Burst skill covers a large AoE and applying powerful Cryo damage with Ganyu or Ayaka can easily sweep the enemies of Spiral Abyss within seconds. Ayato is expected to appear in the game in the middle week of March, therefore, players should keep their primogems ready.
