Zephyr of the Violet Garden
HoYoverse has released the Genshin Impact 2.6 update patch notes earlier today and players waiting for a preview of al lthe new upcoming content in the game can check out this article as it mentions the new features for the “Zephyr of the Violet Garden” update.
As the current update that added Yae Miko will conclude today, players are looking forward to the addition of Kamisato Ayato and the return of Venti, the Anemo Archon and Ayaka. The update will be available for the players on March 30 as the developers will begin pushing out the 06:00 (UTC+8) from tomorrow. The new content will be available to enjoy for the players once the maintenance schedule is over after 5 hours.

Genshin Impact 2.6 update patch notes
Compared to the 2.5 update, players can expect a lot of content from the Genshin Impact 2.6 update which is dubbed as the Zehpyr of the Violet Garden. The newest update will add a female character as well as a new area named The Chasm for the players.
New Area- The Chasm
The Chasm is all set to be the major attraction of Genshin Impact 2.6 update. It is located near the Liyue nation and what sets apart this new area from previous ones is that players can explore deep into the underground mines of the area and use different mechanisms in order to counter the darkness of the cavern. New character
A new Hydro 5-star character named Kamisato Ayato will become playable in the next version. He is the head of the Kamisato Clan and also the elder brother of Ayaka, a playable Cryo character in the game.

New weapons and artifacts
The Genshin Impact 2.6 update will add a new weapon named “Haran Geppaku Futsu” for the players. Players can pull for the signature weapon of Ayato from the weapon banner named Epitome Invocation.
Vermillion Hereafter and Echoes of an Offering will also be added in the game which can be found in The Chasm. The two artifacts have been tailor-made for Xiao, a 5-star Anemo character and Kamisato Ayato respectively.
New Domain
A new domain named The Lost Valley will also be added in the newest update. The addition of a new domain means players will get another chance to farm free primogems and pull for characters or weapons. The in-game description of the new domain reads as-
"The ancient ritual grounds were buried beneath the earth amidst a cataclysm that tore heaven and earth asunder before being uplifted by the descent of an alien object, and finally unveiled by a destructive battle that resulted from a betrayal."
New Events
Hues of the Violet Garden event – During the event, you will receive quests to help organize the Irodori Festival. As the festival progresses, four gameplay modes will be unlocked in sequence: “The Moon and Stars Inscribe,” “Theater Mechanicus,” “Clash of Lone Blades,” and “The Floral Courtyard.” The 4-star Hydro character Xingqui will be the reward of this event with additional primogems.
New enemies
A lot of new enemies will be added for the players that will be seen in the new area called The Chasm. While the first one was revealed in the special program only, rest of the enemies are mentioned below.
- Ruin Serpent
- Black Serpent Windcutter
- Floating Hydro Fungus
Apart from these new features, Genshin Impact 2.6 update patch notes reveal that new story and world quests involving Ayato and Dainsleif will appear in the update along with new recipes.
