Yelan is an upcoming Hydro character in Genshin Impact whose model had been leaked a few days ago when Ayato’s kit was unveiled by the data miners. Now, the recent Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks have revealed the possible kit of Yelan, although, these leaks are very suspicious and players should take it with a little skepticism.

The 2.6 update of Genshin Impact is going to be rolled out for the players in a few days and add the Hydro character Kamisato Ayato in the character archive. Apart from that, players will once again be able to pull for Ayaka (Cryo) and Venti (Anemo) in the time-limited banner. Amidst this, some new Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks have surfaced on the Twitter platform.

Yelan had been a suspicious character in the game for a while as she was mistaken as Madame Ping when the Moonchase Festival event cutscene was released by Genshin Impact. Fortunately, her model had been leaked which appears to be quite accurate. From her model, Yelan looks similar to other adult girl models such as Keqing.

Apart from this the Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks have revealed about the elemental abilities of Yelan. The upcoming character is said to be a Hydro bow user, similar to Tartaglia (Childe). If she indeed turns out to be a Hydro bow user, then players will certainly try to pull for her as she will be the second Hydro bow user.

"An anonymous person claimed that Yelan can apply hydro to monsters off-field and that she is designed for vaporize (similar to Xingqiu), DPS booster, but it was not specially designed for Ayato. Basically, she can assist all Main DPS. Yelan can also do Main DPS, but the DPS is not high."

Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks come from a Reddit Post on Genshin Impact Leaks. Although, players should note that these leaks are termed questionable as the 2.7 update is still a month away. As mentioned in the description, Yelan seems to be a Hydro DPS character rather than a support but her DPS is not that much powerful compared to the other characters.

Another post on Reddit given by a user reads as, “Needs charged attacks, yes. Charged attack dps, no. Buffs (?), depends. Already known that Xiangling doesn’t work well (snapshots). Edit – the “backstage” part in full translates to off-field hydro application. Leaker also says the HP scaling might not mean much since Xingqiu’s healing (which isn’t the main use of him) scales off HP too.”

The above mentioned information is more inclined towards Yelan being a Sub-DPS option. Although, it is important to note that the character stats are yet to be known, therefore, it is too early to determine whether Yelan will be a DPS character or not. Considering her release date, Yelan might appear in the 2.7 update.

As 2.6 update is introducing Ayato, Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks state that Yelan might be released with Kuki Shinobu, who has been referred to in the game several times by Arataki Itto. Many players are speculating that Kuki Shinobu is going to be a Geo character, but her element is currently unknown.
