Players should gear up for the announcement of Genshin Impact 2.7 livestream as it might be dropping within a few hours. Even though there has been a delay of a couple of days for the special program, players can be assured of getting the next patch on the scheduled date itself.
Recently, a reliable source providing Genshin Impact leaks for various patches revealed the promo art of the upcoming update and from the art, one can deduce that it is going to be featured in the special program. Several other details were also notice in the art.

Genshin Impact 2.7 promo art leaked by reliable source
Even though the next update is not adding any area which the players can explore, we can certainly rejoice as players will have an increased chance of obtaining characters. Yelan and Kuki Shinobu are the two new releases that will be seen in Genshin Impact 2.7 update apart from two rerun characters.
The rerun characters were revealed earlier to be Xiao and Arataki Itto but the leaks were said to be questionable as it didn’t come from a reliable source. Fortunately, a promo art of the next special program has been leaked which confirmed the upcoming character banners. The promo art shows the following characters-
- Yelan
- Kuki Shinobu
- Arataki Itto
- Yanfei
- Xiao
The name of the new update is “Hidden Dreams in the Depths” which could arrive on May 11th if the update is not delayed. The special program is expected to air on May 1st which means the announcement could drop in within the next 24 hours. Players should definitely watch the livestream in order to claim 300 primogems.
The characters shown in the leaked promo art of Genshin Impact 2.7 update shows both Xiao and Arataki Itto, further confirming their rerun banner. The new characters and rerun characters will appear in different phases. Players can get an estimated idea of their release dates-
- Phase 1: Yelan + Xiao
- Phase 2: Arataki Itto + Kuki Shinobu (4-star)
Yanfei has also been displayed in the promo art as she is said to appear in Yelan and Xiao’s banner along with Noelle and Barbara. Moreover, she is going to play a major role in the Perilous Trail Quest which is going to center around the Anemo character, Xiao who is also a Yaksha.
