Genshin Impact 2.7 update upcoming banners and events
The first phase of Genshin Impact 2.7 update titled Hidden Dreams in the Depths will be beginning shortly and the developers have announced the banners and events that have been prepared for the first phase. For Travelers who had installed the pre-installation package, they will be enjoying the patch very soon.
With the sole focus on The Chasm once again, Travelers along with two newly introduced characters will be able to take on the enemies of this mysterious area to uncover the secrets of the missing Yaksha. Here is a sneak peek of the first phase of the update.

Genshin Impact 2.7 update Phase 1 details announced officially
Every update of the game is divided into two different phases with a difference of 21 days between each patch. The first phase of Genshin Impact 2.7 update commences on 31st May. Here are the upcoming banners and events that players should check out-
Yelan and Xiao banner
The character event wishes for the first phase are the banners of Yelan and Xiao where the 4-star characters- Noelle, Barbara and Yanfei will receive a significant drop rate boost. Both of these 5-star characters are quite strong but building them can be a bit expensive, therefore, players should pull for the banner accordingly.
Weapon banner
The ‘Epitome Invocation’ banner is bringing a new bow named Aqua Simulacra that is the signature weapon of Yelan. Xiao’s signature weapon will also be available in the upcoming weapon banner. The 4-star weapons are the following-
- Lithic Spear (4-Star Polearm)
- Sacrificial Sword (4-Star Sword)
- Favonius Greatsword (4-Star Claymore)
- Eye of Perception (4-Star Catalyst)
- Sacrificial Bow (4-Star Bow)
Events
Perilous Trail
The main event of Genshin Impact 2.7 update is the ‘Perilous Trail’ Event where players will travel to The Chasm to investigate different mysteries. Players need the following requirements to participate in the event-
- Adventure Rank 28 or above
- Archon Quest- Chapter 1: Act 3- A New Star Approaches
- Raiden Shogun Story Quest
- World Quest- A Teapot to Call Home: Part 1
Players will be provided with primogems, Crown of Insight, Mora as well as a free 4-star bow named Fading Twilight.
The Almighty Arataki Great and Glorious Drumalong Festival
Another fun event to be added in the first phase is a musical event where Travelers will be required to go to the sight of the Arataki Drumalong Festival and play music with a small drum given by Arataki Itto. Travelers should meet these requirements-
- Adventure Rank 30 or above
- Complete ‘Ritou Escape Plan’ part of the Archon Quest: Chapter 2 Act 1- The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia
Adventurer’s Booster Bundle
Two bundles- Adventurer’s Instruction and Adventurer’s Jumbo Ore bundle will be available for purchase with a limited time discount. Players can get a hefty amount of Mora and Mystic Enhancement Ore as well as 3-star weapon ascension materials from the bundles.
Apart from this, Genshin Impact 2.7 update will bring some new Archon and story quests which will further provide primogems to the players.
