Players have once again started getting prior information on the Genshin Impact 2.8 update. A credible leaker in the community has provided the leaked promo art of the upcoming patch in July which shows Kazuha, Mona and other 4-star characters such as Fischl and Xinyan.

The events and banners for the second phase have already been announced by HoYoverse which implies that we are heading close towards the last Inazuma patch that brings back the Golden Apple Archipelago islands.

Genshin Impact 2.8 leaks reveal upcoming official promo art

With the beta test recruitment commencing for the 3.0 update, Travelers are convinced that the 2.8 update is the last update where we get to interact with the characters from Inazuma and Shikanoin Heizou is apparently the last character hailing from the Electro nation. The drip marketing of this 4-star Anemo character revived the dying community when the current patch was postponed.

Now, the official promo art of the Genshin Impact 2.8 update has given way to leakers and theory crafters into predicting the upcoming content and rerun characters. The promo art showcasing ‘Summer Fantasia’ clearly hints at the time-limited islands returning. The characters featured in the promo art are-

All of these characters are related to the central quest of the 2.8 update as informed before by the data miner Project Celestia. Kazuha’s presence in the banner also indicates that the long-anticipated rerun is finally happening in the last Inazuma patch. Some other hints such as Kazuha’s domain and Spiral Abyss buffs point toward the character’s rerun.

While Spiral Abyss buffs and domains were leaked much before, the Genshin Impact 2.8 promo art got leaked recently. This has given a solid confirmation to the players who are ardently waiting for the Anemo character’s arrival. Another interesting thing that Travelers will be able to see is Fischl’s skin who will also be given as the reward for the main event.
