Genshin Impact 3.0 banners: Release date of upcoming characters and reruns revealed

There has been a lot of confusion regarding the characters that will be getting their reruns in the new patch as the meta is going to be highly affected due to the arrival of Dendro characters. Fortunately, a new batch of leaks on Genshin impact 3.0 banners have revealed the characters with their scheduled arrival.

The 3.0 update is certainly going to be memorable for the players. Not only are they going to get a new map in Teyvat but also the second anniversary event where free rewards such as primogems, wishes and more will be provided. As the Genshin Impact 3.0 banners schedule has been leaked, Travelers should be ready with their stock of primogems.

Leaks reveal Genshin Impact 3.0 banners for Phase 1 and 2

The second phase of 2.8 update has already begun with Yoimiya’s banner and new events for the Golden Apple Archipelago have commenced. Simultaneously, players have been getting a plethora of information on the 3.0 update that is going to be available starting from the current month.

The latest available information is regarding the Genshin Impact 3.0 banners. While it was already confirmed that Tighnari, Dori and Collei will join the Traveler’s party in the same update, players were equally concerned about the re-run banners. With the current leaked information, it is known that the following 5-star characters will have their rerun banners –

• Zhongli
• Ganyu
• Kokomi

Earlier there had been rumors regarding three banner phases just like the 1.5 update but the rumor has been overruled now as the update is neither going to be shortened or extended for an additional banner. Genshin impact 3.0 banners will be seen in the following manner-

Phase 1 (Tighnari + Zhongli)

The first phase is going to begin from 24th August where players can summon Tighnari, the first male Dendro character and Zhongli who is deemed as one of the strongest characters in the game. Their banner will consist of Collei, one of the trusted friend of Amber. Players will also get Collei as a free unit in an event which is going to be one of the major events for the 3.0 update.

Phase 2 (Ganyu + Kokomi)

Zhongli and Ganyu, are one of the most popular characters in the game. As a consequence, Ganyu’s rerun was somewhat expected by the players. On the other hand, Kokomi’s arrival was surprising as she is not related to the story in any way, which is one of the primary aspects of releasing rerun banners.

These two 5-star characters will bring Dori, a 4-star Electro character who is going to use Claymore as a weapon. She is also going to be a healer with a unique gameplay mechanic, therefore, pulling for her will be worth it.

Genshin impact 3.0 banners are going to bring 4 banners for 5-star characters. Apart from Zhongli, it is expected that the other 5-stars are going to have a good synergy with Dendro character, Tighnari and others.
