After a series of speculations from gamers and theory crafters, HoYoverse has finally given a date to the Genshin impact 3.0 livestream, a special program that is indeed going to be ‘special’ due to the introduction of Sumeru in Teyvat. The desert nation is going to provide a whole new platform for exploration and players are highly excited to become a Sumeru Traveler.
There are a lot of questions lurking around the player’s mind regarding Sumeru and the livestream is here to answer all of them. Players can watch the program from the comfort of their homes on the date which is going to be mentioned in this article.

Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream: What to expect and more
The special program for an update usually drops prior two weeks to the release of the actual update. Following the same trend, HoYoverse has announced that the Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream will be available on 13th August, 2022.
Players can catch a glimpse of Sumeru on both the official channels of Twitch and YouTube. The session time might be different for players residing in a widespread time zone. Twitch users can watch the stream at 8:00 AM (UTC-4) whereas YouTube viewers can watch the stream from 12:00 PM (UTC-4).
The special program usually lasts for an hour but it is expected that the Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream can be extended to a certain extent as a lot of content is going to be revealed by the officials. Specific teasers and promotional video for Sumeru have already been uploaded on the YouTube channel and the announcement of livestream has taken the fan’s excitement to a greater level.
What to expect
Redeem codes
The most anticipated thing for the Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream is the free primogems that are going to be given with the program. Players can get 3 special codes and redeeming them will add 300 primogems for free in the player’s account. Remember to watch the full program in order to collect all the codes.
Initial Sumeru characters
Tighnari, Collei and Dori are the three initial characters from Sumeru. The gameplay, additional information such as appearance and personality for each character will be showcased in the 3.0 update preview. Their release dates will also get revealed as HoYoverse will be announcing the phase for each banner.
New Archon Quests
Pushed by the wind from Monstadt and facing the wrath of Raiden Shogun in Inazuma, Travelers are all set to venture on a new journey, this time with the Dendro Archon. As players already know, the Archon is none other than Nahida or Lesser Lord Kusanali who is considered the harbour of wisdom and knowledge.
Genshin impact 3.0 livestream might also reveal information on special anniversary events as the second anniversary coincides with the upcoming patch. Therefore, make sure to check out the program on time.
