Genshin Impact players may soon get a PvP mode
With exploration of the open world being the prime objective of the Travelers in HoYoverse’s role playing game, players have time and again demanded a special game mode. It now seems possible as Genshin Impact 3.1 leaks just hinted on a ‘player vs player’ game mode in the September update.
With the shortened updates and rescheduled dates for the Sumeru update, players have been quite concerned about the amount of content they will be getting in the shortened versions but it seems like HoYoverse is not going to disappoint the players.

New Genshin Impact 3.1 leaks: Permanent TCG game mode
As the beta recruitment of the 3.1 update has already started, fans are looking forward to the new Genshin Impact 3.1 leaks that can provide information on upcoming content and playable characters. While Cyno, Nilou and Candace are confirmed to be released on the 3.1 update, there still remains a lot to know about them.
Recently, one of the Genshin Impact 3.1 leaks stood out as it stated that Travelers are going to get a permanent game mode. This game mode will be a ‘TCG’ or Trading Card Game in simplified term. Players had time and again demanded on such a ‘card game’ which Arataki Itto also mentioned in the game and fortunately, we might be getting that soon.

What is more interesting to note is that the TCG game mode might be available on a PvP mode which implies that players can invite or challenge their friends in this card game. While Co-Op mode allows Travelers to play with friends, the upcoming game mode will allow players to go against their friends in a battle of cards.
Apart from PvP, it can be played in the usual PvE (player vs environment) which is the general gameplay of every combat in Genshin Impact. Data miner who provided the Genshin Impact 3.1 leaks also claimed that there will be weekly battles between players and NPCs that might help to increase the Battle Pass EXP.
The upcoming game mode which is said to become a permanent addition has already caused a massive stir in the Genshin Impact community who have always been waiting for a new game mode.
