New web event in Genshin Impact
HoYoverse has brought a new web event which can probably be the last event in the 2.8 update that gifts free primogems to the players. As we are heading to Sumeru, players should take part in the Genshin Impact A Journey Through Pages web event so that they can claim some extra primogems for summoning the Dendro characters.
There is no dearth of events when it comes to Genshin Impact as the developers are ready with an entertaining interaction, be it with the Traveler or upcoming playable characters. Since primogems are easily available from the web events, they should be definitely checked out.

New web event in Genshin Impact: A Journey Through the Pages
While Travelers are currently busy to complete all the events and quests in the game before they become a Sumeru Traveler, HoYoverse is back with another web event. The Genshin Impact A Journey Through Pages web event was announced earlier today and is going to be available till the end of this update.
The event will take the players to Lisa’s library where Paimon and Lumine will be doing some kind of research in the books. As the web event does not require any combat or special skills from the characters, every Traveler irrespective of their rank can participate in the event. To participate, click on this link and select your server.
Once your details are generated, commence with the event where you will be asked to fit a piece in the puzzle. After dragging the piece, players can click on the Explore button to interact with a friendly hilichurl. These encounters are necessary as it will help the Travelers to progress in the event and claim primogems.

As all of the puzzle pieces are not available at the first day, players will be required to complete some daily tasks in the game to obtain Activity Points which can further help to claim Encounter Pieces. Here is how to claim points-
- Log in to the web event daily
- Visit the official Genshin Impact Twitter Account
- Use 40 Original Resin daily
- Complete two commissions daily
- Log in to the game daily
Once you obtain sufficient points, you will automatically get puzzle pieces which can be used in the Explore section. Click on ‘Explore Now’ to get the Encounter Records. A total of 13 Encounter pieces need to be collected in order to claim the 120 primogems for free in the Genshin Impact A Journey Through Pages web event
Claim extra primogems
HoYoverse also released “Ballads of the World”: The Shimmering Voyage Vol. 2 OST Album Event where players can claim 40 primogems for free by listening to the music tracks and sharing the event. After sharing it on any of your social media account, HoYoverse will provide redemption code for the primogems that can be obtained from the HoYoLAB’s forum message before 24th August.
