Genshin Impact’s version 3.1 started to roll down the curtains on some fresh new characters in the land of Tevyat. Travelers might wanna hold on to their primogems as Hoyoverse confirmed the release of 3 new characters: Cyno, Nilou and Candace in this upcoming update of 3.1.
Candace and Nilou will be available in Genshin Impact version 3.1, that will become available on September 28th. Hoyoverse verified this leak during the 3.0 livestream special program. It’s been speculated that 3.1 will be previewed during the Tokyo Gameshow on September 15th, although this has yet to be verified. Candace as well as Nilou will debut their releases on September 28th if they are part of the initial character banner but on October 18th if they are part of the second banner.

Cyno, an Electro user who appeared to be carrying a lance, was the first character produced by Genshin Impact. Cyno was also shown wielding a polearm sparring against Alhaitham in a current Sumeru promotional film. When he is published in version 3.1, players may anticipate him to equip a polearm. And fanarts from many communities and sources hint that Cyno will be endorsing his vision on his waist and can maybe an electro dps polearm user.

The Genshin Impact team also released leaks about another 5 star character: Nilou. Nilou will be a hydro character and her kit might reflect the stances of dance steps and her gracefulness and jolly personality. As there is no equipment or any notable weapon in sight, players cannot speculate on which weapon she will employ. Female Hydro figures of teenage kit and shorter height, such as Mona, Kokomi, and Barbara, are generally catalyst-users, therefore it’s a possibility for Nilou.
Candace being the new 4 star character and featuring a shield-like armament, tanned dark skin and a mysterious garment. No official leaks have been teased by Hoyoverse yet and neither did she feature in any of the trailers released prior to 3.0 update thus making her the talk of the town for the entire Genshin Impact community. Based on an erstwhile Treasure Hoarder representative, Candace can summon the strength of the desert in the characterization. No one can escape her grasp because every sand grain acts as a scout following her orders.
