Genshin Impact: Dendro Archon ‘Kusanali’ Lore, Release Date and Updated Leaks

So, the land of Dendro aka Sumeru has finally revealed its first part in Genshin Impact. This brings us to the next Archon: Lesser Lord Kusanali (Nahida). Many previous leaks have depicted Kusanali’s visual kit and character design but some recent leaks from Sussy Leaks and UBatcha confirm her to be an essential character in patch 3.2.

The character Kusanali will play a huge role in the next Genshin Impact upgrades. Thus, many Travelers would be curious to learn more about her background and expected release date. There has been a final render reveal (microwave render) of Kusanali’s playable character and it is very similar to Klee.

Kusanali’s Genshin Impact Banner Release and Lore Leaks

Genshin Impact’s upcoming Archon aka Kusanali has been considered the youngest of the Seven Archons in the land of Tevyat. The Sumerian sages transported Kusanali to the Sanctuary of Surasthana after her birth, where she has remained ever since in her material reality without ever mingling with the outside world. She may, therefore, use the name Nahida to make appearances in people’s dreams, some refer her to be the Goddess of ‘dreams and wishes’.

Despite not having any direct folklore or quest that has revealed much about Kusanali, Genshin Impact did drop some easter eggs. Characters like Zhongli and Ganyu have referred to the God of Wisdom (also called lesser lord Kusanali) in many prior quests. When buying kites for the Rite of Splitting in “Downtown,” Zhongli makes the first reference to the ‘God of Wisdom’. She is subsequently mentioned by Ganyu in “Solitary Fragrance,” where she notes that at 500 years old, she is the newest of the present Seven, as compared to Morax, who was almost 6000 years old at the time of his alleged demise.

Nahida was regarded as a catalyst user (similar to Klee), according to an early data mine. If that holds true now, she qualifies as a 5-star Dendro Catalyst user. There is little reason to question this previous leak because the other details are still correct and from trusted leakers. In essence, multiple Genshin Impact leakers have published a synopsis outlining what they currently know about lesser lord Kusanali. Here are a few instances:

1. The traveler becomes trapped in a dream cycle and needs Kusanali’s assistance to free themselves from the confusion (3.2 story quest leak)
2. After the previous Dendro Archon perished in the Archon War, the current one (Kusanali) was born.
3. The scholars stole Kusanali’s Gnosis, thus she no longer possesses it.
4. She has the power to possess others.
5. Not all sages respect and pray to her.

Genshin Impact has been an evergrowing MMORPG that keeps bringing new characters and lores to the travelers and this time, Kusanali will be expected to rule over Patch 3.2 itself along with story quests covering the banner 4-star character (new hangout events of Layla: the speculated 4-star unit).
