Genshin Impact fans speculate the addition of a new region in northwest Liyue

Genshin Impact is an open world game that does not give any dearth of exploration to its players. With the main activities taking place around Teyvat, the role playing game consists of different nations known for their unique elemental powers and artifacts.
It can be said without an inch of doubt that Genshin Impact players are overwhelmed by the addition of new regions. This is evident from the fact that the player count of the game has seen a jump in numbers ever since the developers started adding new regions such as Inazuma in the 2.0 update and sub-regions such as Watatsumi Island and Enkanmoiya.

Genshin Impact players bring out theories of a new region in Liyue
The latest region to be added in the game is the archipelago Enkanomiya which had saw a great response from the fans. fter the addition of Enkanomiya in the 2.4 update, players have shifted their eyes towards the unlocking of an ew region named The Chasm that will be located around Lisha, Liyue.
Amidst this, a new fan theory has come forward from a Reddit user named XeRoXayuki who has claimed that Zhongli’s reference to the Qiaoying Village in northwest Liyue in Genshin Impact Bartender Event might actually hint on the release of a new region. It is important to note that this is not the first time that the village has been referred to in the game.
Qiaoying Village has been described as a region that is famous for its beverages such as tea as well as other drinks. This village has previously been mentioned to in the daily commission of Liyue, “The Little Pirate Goes out to the Sea” where the Traveler talks with Little Meng and gives them an ingredient.
The Reddit post points out why Qiaoying Village might be the next region of Liyue nation. While some fans have pointed out that the area could be seen with the release of The Chasm, this seems unlikely since Chasm is located in the southern part of the nation. Other fans hold the view that this village might be located near Sumeru, the upcoming nation in the game.
Even though the addition of Qiaoying Village might be a very minor addition, players can expect some daily commissions or quests if this village is added in the game soon. As of now, players should wait for the release of Chasm in Genshin Impact which is scheduled to be added in the game on March 30,2022.
