Genshin Impact Hidden Strife event: Release date and gameplay details

Hidden Strife in Genshin Impact

With all the domains getting unlocked in the Golden Apple Archipelago event, most of the Travelers have more or less completed the event and obtain primogems. HoYoverse has therefore announced Genshin Impact Hidden Strife Event, an event based on the 5-star Pyro character Diluc who recently got his alternate skin.

The main event of the ‘Summer Fantasia’ update is currently going on but players can get another chance of claiming free primogems. This is a great chance for F2P players who have been saving up for the banner of Yoimiya or Dendro characters.

Genshin Impact Hidden Strife event details

The Genshin Impact Hidden Strife event is going to be released in the game on 27th July and continue till 15th of August. Players should try to complete the challenges of this event within the given time period if they wish to obtain the free primogems. As per the official description, Travelers and Paimon will face a threat from the past at the Dawn Vinery.

Before participating in this event, players need to meet a specific Adventure Rank and complete some quests which have been mentioned below-

Red Dead of the Knight outfit
  • Reach Adventure Rank 25 or above
  • Complete the Archon Quest- Prologue Act 3- Song of the Dragon and Freedom
  • Diluc’s Story Quest “Noctua Chapter: Act I – Darknight Hero’s Alibi”

During the Genshin Impact Hidden Strife event, Travelers will face seven different challenges which will get unlocked eventually over the course of time. In addition to that, every challenge will have two different modes-

  • Vicious Battle
  • Dire Straits

The Vicious Battle mode in the Genshin Impact Hidden Strife event consists of three difficulty levels- Perilous, Quandary, and Desperate. All difficulties will be unlocked eventually after the challenge begins. Completing it at a higher difficulty will automatically complete the lower difficulties for the players.

New outfit in 2.8 update

The second mode will only unlock if players are able to complete the challenge of the ‘Desperate’ difficulty level. Completing the Genshin Impact Hidden Strife event will help the players to obtain primogems, hero’s wit as well as weapon ascension materials in the game.
