MiHoYo has announced the release date of Genshin Impact Hyakunnin Ikki event for the current update. Apparently, this event will provide the last chance of obtaining free primogems to the players. This article takes a look at the gameplay details of the event which is getting a rerun in this update.

The Bartender Event of the game is on the brink of concluding but players can shift their focus to a challenging task as the new Genshin Impact Hyakunnin Event will bring a tournament in an unknown hall of Inazuma where players need to form a team of two different characters and defeat the enemies with some different powers. Genshin Impact Hyakunnin Ikki event 2.5 release date

The developers have earlier today announced that the Genshin Impact Hyakunnin Ikki 2.5 will be available in the game from March 18,2022. This event will be available in the game till the end of version 2.5 and players need to meet the eligibility criteria in order to participate in the event.

For participating in this event, players need to hold Adventure Rank 30 or above. In addition to that, they need to complete the Archon quest, “Ritou Escape Plan”. This event can then be accessed from the World Quest ‘Hyakunin Ikki: Golden Whirlwind’

Gameplay details

In Genshin Impact Hyakunnin Ikki event 2.5 update, players will be required to complete a total of six challenges which will be unlocked each day starting from tomorrow. By forming a team of two characters, players will be required to defeat enemies that will spawn frequently.

Challenges

Players can choose the difficulty level according to their wish in the tournament and it is important to note that the highest difficulty level will help the players to obtain more points. A total of six trial characters will be provided in this event which will be different from the ones previously given.

Players can use their own characters and the trial characters to form six teams of two characters in Genshin Impact Hyakunnin Ikki event where they can use Two secret arts. These Secret Arts will provide different skill effects to the characters and players can change the arts provided based on their preference.

Trial characters

Secret Arts will be further divided to Transmission Arts and Normal Secret Arts where the former Arts will be updated with varying skill effects as new stage challenges become available and the latter Arts will remain the same at each stage. These characters will be provided for trial in the Genshin Impact Hyakunnin Ikki event-

For switching the teams, players need to use the Relay Skill option which consists of a cooldown period of 20 seconds. It is important to note that the combat ability of a team will decrease once they reach 25 seconds of field time. Another thing worth mentioning here is that players won’t be able to consume any food during the challenge.

Rewards

The Genshin Impact Hyakunnin Ikki event 2.5 will provide the players with primogems, weapon ascension materials, Mora and other rewards, therefore, players should make certain to complete the event on time.
