After the successful conclusion of the Lantern Rite festival, the 2.6 update is all set to bring Genshin Impact Irodori festival where the focus will be shifted towards the Inazuma region. Several leaks have already hinted on what fans can expect from the upcoming event.
It won’t be wrong to say that the developers of the popular role-playing game have prepared several new events and even characters for the upcoming patches. Through the 2.6 leaks we got to know about the Hydro 5-star addition named Kamisato Ayato as well as Genshin Impact Irodori festival. Here is what we know so far.

Genshin Impact Irodori festival
Genshin Impact Irodori festival has kept the fans hooked towards the leaks of the 2.6 update. It will bring together several Inazuman characters including Kamisato Ayato. Travelers waiting for the interaction of Inazuma based characters should certainly wish to take part in the Inazuma based time-limited event.
According to a reliable source, Genshin Impact Irodori Festival will bring various minigames for players to enjoy. In addition to that, new story quests will be given to the players based on the festival. These minigames will of course reward the players with Mora or Primogems. Here is what players can expect from the festival.
- Take plant photos for two NPCs in order to inspire their poetry.
- Swordfight minigame that requires parry.
- Tower defense minigame.
- Four Ikebana chores.
The leaker has also confirmed that the minigames of Genshin impact Irodori Festival will grant the players with as much as 680 primogems. Although the amount might change later before the update gets rolled out.
Leaks regarding the characters of Genshin Impact Irodori festival have also revealed the characters that would be seen interacting with each other at the festival. It would be intriguing to see whether Irodori festival is able to bring an engaging cutscene like Lantern Rite 2022 which became a massive hit. The characters that will be seen are mentioned below:
- Albedo
- Kaedehara Kazuha
- Kamisato Ayaka
- Kamisato Ayato
- Klee
- Kujou Sara
- Venti
- Xingqiu
- Yae Miko
These characters are subjected to change. However, the arrival of Kazuha and Venti strongly suggest the rerun banner of Kazuha and Venti. Although Kazuha’s rerun seems more likely since data miners have found a story quest regarding Kazuha. Apart from that, Spiral Abyss 2.6 will benefit Anemo users further solidifying their reruns.
It has also been informed that Genshin Impact Irodori Festival will give Xingqui as the free reward. Previous leaks suggested that Thoma will be given for free, therefore, it is currently unknown whether both of the characters can be obtained for free in this festival.
