With Travelers heading close to the release of Sumeru, they are getting Genshin Impact leaks on both 3.0 update and the 3.1 update. While the former update’s information should be treated as reliable right now considering the patch is not far away, the latter update’s leaks should be deemed questionable at this moment.

One of those leaks coming out regarding the 3.1 update is about the upcoming character Cyno. These leaks have provided new information on how this character will work during combat in Sumeru.

Cyno’s abilities explained by Genshin Impact leaks

Cyno’s release was confirmed to be on the 3.1 update by Genshin Impact leaks coming from a reliable source. He will become playable along with Nilou, the 5-star Hydro character and Candace who holds the same vision as Nilou. As for Cyno, his element was leaked to be Electro.

Considering the new Dendro reactions with the existing Electro element, it looks like Cyno, a 5-star character might become a great support or damage buffer for Collei who is getting released in the 3.0 update along with Tighnari and Dori. As for his weapon, it would be safe to consider it a polearm from his official art.

While the Genshin Impact leaks have not revealed the entire kit of this character, players can get a general idea regarding his Electro application on the field. With his Elemental Skill, he can dash forward towards the enemies and deal damage. His ‘E’ will take up 60% of his damage making him similar to Xiao.

His ‘Q’ will infuse his weapon with Electro changing the action of his elemental skill and normal attacks. In addition to that, the range of the damage provided from his elemental skill will increase, allowing Dendro characters to provide more damage against the enemies.

Genshin Impact leaks have also mentioned that Cyno’s burst can be charge by using his Elemental Skill even if the Burst is working. This is quite different from Xiao which might make him reliable character in the field even without a healer. Cyno is one of the characters that can have an increased damage through Elemental Mastery build. Moreover, players can use Thundering Fury on him at C6 to get good outcome.
