The release of Shikanoin Heizou has been a mystery for a while now. The new character who has remained in the shadows for a long time and whose element is speculated to be Electro has procured much hype from the community and fortunately Genshin Impact leaks have informed the fans about the potential release date of the character. Heizou’s leaks are getting uncovered by the data miners eventually which has left the fans earnestly waiting for the character. Genshin Impact leaks uncover Heizou’s release date
The character remained hidden in the game files and players started to focus on Ayato leaks but now that most of the Ayato’s kit and ascension materials including his gameplay animations has been revealed, players are now placing queries regarding the release date of Shikanoin Heizou.
The character was initially said to appear in the 2.6 update along with Kamisato Ayato, the upcoming 5-star Hydro playable character. He was also revealed to be a character with 4-star rarity, however, the latest Genshin Impact leaks given by UBatcha has revealed that Heizou will be seen in the 2.8 update.
There are some other leaks that nearly confirms his release in the 2.8 update. As of now, Ayato does not have any concurrent banner which means he is going to be the only character banner in the first phase of 2.6 update. The second phase will probably be filled with rerun banners of Kazuha, Venti or Ayaka and Yoimiya.
The 2.7 update also looks packed up with the release of Yelan and Kuki Shinobu. Therefore these Genshin Impact leaks force Heizou’s release in the 2.8 update and apparently, he will be the last Inazuman character to be released. If he indeed arrives in the 2.8 update, then his release date is expected around June 2022.

Shikanoin Heizou has been referred to by several characters in the game. He will present himself as the detective of the Tenroyu Commission similar to the 4-star Electro character Kujou Sara. Moreover, previously informed Genshin Impact leaks confirmed Heizou to be the shortest male character, however, his element remains a question.
Genshin Impact leaks continue to surprise the players with much needed beforehand information regarding the characters that are yet to be announced officially by the developers.
