Yelan and Shinobu in Genshin Impact
As the developers of Genshin Impact announce the new characters beforehand, it is being speculated that the 2.7 characters Yelan and Shinobu will soon be announced as the role playing game is gearing up to receive its 2.6 version, “Zephyr of the Violet Garden” which makes Kamisato Ayato, the brother of Ayaka, a playable character along with the rerun banners of Anemo archon and Cryo character Ayaka.
With almost every update, the developers release new characters in order to provide the players a plethora of exploration options while they are defeating the hilichurls and Abyss monsters of Teyvat.

Genshin Impact might drop character revelations for Yelan and Shinobu
Kamisato Ayato, whose face remained a mystery for a long time was finally revealed by the developers when the 2.5 update bringing Yae Miko was about to be launched for the players. As a consequence, it can be assumed that both Yelan and Shinobu will be revealed shortly either through official or unofficial means.
As per some prominent sources, the drip marketing for both Yelan and Shinobu will be done either today or within this week as the 2.6 update is dropping on March 30 which is a couple of days away. If these sources are considered to be true, then details on Kuki Shinobu will be highly beneficial for the players.
As per some other Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks, Yelan is going to be a 5-star Hydro character using bow as her weapon which means her release in the game might also add a new weapon. Apart from her, Kuki Shinobu who is only known through voice lines is going to be a 4-star character whose element is currently unknown.
Yelan’s character model has already been leaked with her Kirin Bow and the leaks appear to be accurate. On the other hand, the only thing we know about Kuki Shinobu is that Arataki Itto is afraid of her and she was a law student in the Liyue nation before she joined the Arataki gang. Many players are considering her to be a Geo character as she is related to Itto.
Considering their release dates, Yelan might be released in the first phase of the 2.7 update which means she will become playable around May with a currently unknown rerun banner. Shinobu who is a 4-star character will be seen in the second phase in the banner of a rerun character.
Players should wait for official announcements on these characters as this information is only based on speculation. If the assumption appears to be accurate, players will get to know more about the two new additions.
