Perilous Trail Event in Genshin Impact

The primary event of the ‘Hidden Dreams in Depths’ update is about to begin soon rewarding the players with not only primogems but a 4-star bow as well. The developers had earlier today announced the details on Genshin Impact Perilous Trail Event giving the event duration and gameplay details.

Genshin Impact has brought brand new events for the 2.7 update offering the F2P players with an opportunity to collect primogems for free. If Travelers were waiting to know the details of the Perilous Trail event, this article is just for them.

Genshin Impact Perilous Trail Event details

The 2.7 update of the game is releasing on 31st May and players should prepare for the events and banners releasing on the first phase. The Genshin Impact Perilous Trail event is one such event where Travelers will once again set off on a journey to The Chasm, this time with a different gameplay and task.

The event commences from tomorrow and will be present in the game until 20th June. The event shop, will however be available for 27th June, providing players a prolonged time to claim the event-exclusive rewards. Here are the pre-requisites for this event-

  • Adventure Rank 28 or above
  • Archon Quest “Chapter I: Act III – A New Star Approaches” and World Quest “Wherefore Did the Spiritstone Descend?”
  • Arataki Itto’s Story Quest “Taurus Iracundus Chapter: Act I,” Raiden Shogun’s Story Quest “Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II,” and World Quest “A Teapot to Call Home: Part I”

Provided they haven’t completed the quests, they can just click on ‘Quick Start’ to begin with the new event. Travelers will be required to go and investigate the depths of The Chasm and interact with specific wooden boards to enter the Realms of Guide and War to take part in the combat.

In Genshin Impact Perilous Trail event, Travelers can take part in 4 ‘Realms of Guide and War’ which are based on different difficulty levels. The higher level will of course provide better rewards but lower ranks will also reward a handsome prize. Under the Realm of Guide and War, players have to defeat opponents continuously.

Trial characters

While defeating opponents, players will be provided with Stratagem Shards that can be used to configure party members. Players can set up their team with the mixture of Trial and owned characters. The trail characters are-

  • Yelan
  • Yun Jin
  • Keqing
  • Qiqi
  • Xingqiu
  • Chongyun
  • Yanfei
  • Shenhe

Rewards

The stratagems obtained in the battle while fighting with the characters will help the players to gain buffs during the combat. The rewards for Genshin Impact Perilous Trail Event are Fading Twilight (bow), primogems, weapon ascension materials and Moonlit Cragstone that can be exchanged in the event shop to get more rewards.
