Genshin Impact fans want more character skins
Character outfits or character skins, as many players might call it make the characters even more appealing and this is true for almost every game where Genshin Impact is definitely not an exception. A recent post made on the official reddit community of the game has gone viral as the user claims that the developers should release more character skins.
Travelers can assume the role of different characters which are released often while they go for exploration around Teyvat and defeat enemies utilizing the powers of those characters. However, character skins are quite rare in the game.

Why Genshin Impact players don’t get more character skins?
Almost every new update of Genshin Impact observes the release of new characters. These characters can range from 5-star to 4-star rarity and are quite in demand and players do not shy away from using unique powers of new characters. The popularity of characters is evident from the fact that the arrival of Kamisato Ayato kept the players hooked even though players didn’t have any idea about the character design.
However, this fact can also not be denied that the release of character skins or outfits is equally awaited by the players. This owes to the fact that players get wearied of donning the same outfits that are provided as a default option when Travelers own the specific characters.
When MiHoYo released the character skins of Jean and Barbara which were designed in the summer season theme in the 1.6 update, it nearly broke Genshin Impact community. One interesting fact was that players were able to obtain Barbara’s outfit for free in an event.
The next character skin in Genshin Impact was available in the 2.4 update when the Lantern Rite Event 2022 was released. This event provided a free skin for 4-star Geo character Ningguang whereas players were able to purchase the skin of Keqing from the in-game shop.
The fact that it took the developers such a long time to release character skins has become a cause of concern for the players. A user commenting on this Reddit post claimed that “Genshin has a high standard when it come to clipping issues. They make sure things like swimming, climbing and sitting are natural and doesn’t clip.”
On the other hand, Honkai Impact is more focused towards releasing character skins frequently. This is one of the main reasons that players do not see much outfits for their characters in Genshin Impact. Players are hopeful that more skis will be available in future updates.
