Genshin Impact brings new Golden Apple Archipelago event

Genshin Impact is back with another event for the 2.8 update, also known as the Summer Fantasia as it brought back the time-limited area, Golden Apple Archipelago islands. The Genshin Impact Reminiscent Regimen event marks the beginning of the second phase of the ongoing update, taking Travelers quite close to the Sumeru Arc.

Today marks the second phase of Genshin Impact’s last Inazuma focused update as the rerun banner of 5-star Pyro character Yoimiya was finally released along with some new events such as the Genshin Impact Reminiscent Regimen event.

Wrapping up the events and puzzles given at the Golden Apple Archipelago islands, Traveler and Paimon went to the Dawn Vinery in order to participate in the Hidden Strife event where they were able to play with Diluc’s new skin- Red Dead of the Knight. The event gave out 480 primogems and now players should look forward for more free primogems.

The Genshin Impact Reminiscent Regimen event will be added to the game from 4th August and continue till 15th August. Players should note that this event will take place at the Golden Apple Archipelago islands, therefore, it is necessary to unlock the time-limited area. Other requirements are-

  • Reach Adventure Rank 32 or above
  • Complete the quest Summertime Odyssey: I

This event will bring a challenge for the players that comes with three different themes- Descent, Raid, and Convoy. Under each theme, players will be provided with two other challenges which will get unlocked over the course of time. Fortunately, this game can be played in Co-OP mode. Here is a breakdown of each theme in Genshin Impact Reminiscent Regimen event-

  • Descent challenge- Travelers will be required to start from a platform high in the sky and begin a descending assault. Next, they have to defeat all opponents on various floating platforms and reach the sea surface within the time limit to complete the challenge.
  • Raid challenge- Travelers should navigate their Waverider to reach a certain sea region, board floating platforms, and defeat all opponents on them within a time limit to complete the challenge.
  • Convoy challenge- Travelers have to protect a Driftstone Raft that will automatically move towards a destination. If the Raft reaches its destination within the time limit without being destroyed, the challenge is a success.

Each challenge under this event consists of a different objective and completing them will help the players to obtain primogems, hero’s wait as well as talent level up material for their characters so make sure to participate in this fun event.
