After releasing a series of information regarding the upcoming region called The Chasm in the 2.6 update, Genshin Impact has released the long-awaited character teaser of Kamisato Ayato, the next 5-star Hydro character to be added in the character archive of the game.

Kamisato Ayato, a character who has been a mystery in the game for almost three patches and who was only heard of in the lore as the head of the Kamisato Clan is finally going to become playable as a Hydro sword user on March 30. With his character teaser, players have been able to delve more into the personality of the character.

Ayato will be available in the Genshin Impact 2.6 update in the first banner phase called the Azure Excursion with the rerun banner of the Anemo archon, Venti. Players can summon for him using primogems or Intertwined Fates, although, it is important to note that a 5-star character like him is quite hard to obtain.

As per leaks, Ayato’s birthday is on March 26 which is just a couple of days away. It is unknown whether fans will be able to get any birthday message from him once he is released in the game.

The English voice actor of Ayato, Chris Hackney, has voiced in many animated series, including Francis Scott Fitzgerald in Bungou Stray Dogs and Stinger from One Punch Man. On the other hand, Akira Ishida has lent his voice to the character Gaara from Naruto, Akaza from Demon Slayer and many more.

Speaking of Ayato’s vision and weapon, he is a Hydro sword user whose signature weapon is the Haran Tsukishiro Futsu which is also going to be released soon in the game. Considering the gameplay of Ayato, he is going to be a Hydro DPS character whose main power relies on his Normal Attacks.

Considering his elemental bursts, Ayato will provide huge Aoe DMG while in combat and when used with a Cryo character, it can keep the enemies frozen for a considerable period of time in Genshin Impact.
