The second anniversary of Genshin Impact was spent perfectly as players have been getting a lot of primogems through events or through in-game mail but there’s a lot more that HoYoverse has to offer. Earlier today, the 4-star characters of Nilou and Albedo’s banner were revealed.

The 3.1 update will last for 35 days in total, as a result, the second phase banners and events are coming out a little early. As announced in the livestream program, players will be able to see two banners- Nilou and Albedo in the second phase.

The King Deshret and the Three Magi update was released on 28th September marking the second anniversary of Genshin Impact. With two new events and characters, we are now looking forward to the second phase which commences on October 14th with the banner of Nilou and Albedo.

While speculations were made on this banner, only one of the characters turned out to be accurate as the developers seem to experiment with their Sumeru banners. Players will be able to see this new banner on 10/14 18:00:00 (server time).

Both Nilou and Albedo’s banner in Genshin Impact will bring the following characters-

  • Barbara (Hydro)
  • Xiangling (Pyro)
  • Beidou (Electro)

Nilou is the new 5-star character from Sumeru who uses Hydro sword abilities during combat. Most of her reactions will be beneficial for the Dendro characters as her Elemental Burst deals a lot of Hydro DMG to the enemies. However, she can also work efficiently with Electro units like Beidou.

As for Albedo, the 5-star Geo unit is getting his second rerun in the game and due to his rarity, only a few players possess this character. Albedo’s team relies heavily on Geo characters like Gorou but as he has not been announced in the banner, players can use Albedo with Xiangling.

Nilou and Albedo banner in Genshin Impact will be available till 1st November in the game and this will not be the only new banner of the second phase as players will get to see Nilou’s signature weapon ‘Key of Khaj-Nisut’ in the Epitome Invocation banner.
