Genshin Impact reveals the details of 2.8 update Phase 2 events

Genshin Impact Summer Fantasia update- Phase 2

With several players clearing the domains of Fischl, Mona, Xinyan and Kazuha at the special quests of Golden Apple Archipelago, they have been looking forward for Genshin Impact to start the second phase of the 2.8 update.

HoYoverse has already announced the banners-both weapon and characters they have prepared for the second phase as well as the new events that will help the players to farm for primogems before they jump into Sumeru and roll for playable Dendro characters in the 3.0 update.

Genshin Impact Summer Fantasia update Phase 2

The rerun banner of Yoimiya, a 5-star Pyro character is going to mark the beginning of the current update’s second phase. This banner is going to be available on 2nd August for the players. Apart from that, the Epitome Invocation banner will bring Thundering Pulse, the signature weapon for Yoimiya and Summit Shaper, the infamous claymore in the game.

At this moment, players are collecting primogems from the Hidden Strife event that gave them a chance to play as Diluc, that too, with his new skin ‘Red Dead of the Knight’. The event requires players to defeat powerful monsters over a certain period of time where the difficulty level can also be adjusted.

While this event required players to visit the Dawn Vinery, one of the upcoming events again takes back players to the Golden Apple Archipelago in Genshin Impact. The details have been mentioned below-

Reminiscent Regimen event

This new event will be available in the game from 4th August and for participating, players need to complete the ongoing quest, Summertime Odyssey I and reach Adventure Rank 32 or above. For this event, players can go to the islands and face different challenges within mirages.

These challenges can also be completed in Co-OP mode. Various rewards such as primogems, hero’s wit and talent level up materials will be provided to the players as they complete accruing challenges.

Evermotion Mechanical Painting

New event in 2.8 update

This event will commence from 12th August and continue till 22nd August in Genshin Impact. At the Evermotion Mechanical Painting event, players will meet a person from Fontaine that might bring some information on this country. They will be required to help this person carry out his tasks which will provide the players with primogems and weapon ascension materials.

The second phase of Genshin Impact 2.8 update will conclude on 23rd August. Players should make sure to farm enough primogems for the upcoming characters.
