Genshin Impact Spices from the West event
With the update work of Genshin Impact going on a hiatus, the developers had extended the existing banners of the game and also announced new events such as Genshin Impact Spices from the West event. This article shall discuss the release date of the new event and discuss about the event gameplay.
Every new patch brings some new events for the players in two different phases, however, for the first time ever, Travelers will be able to see the third phase of an update considering the delay of the next update owing to Covid-19 restrictions.

Genshin Impact Spices from the West event
The Genshin Impact Spices from the West event was initially announced in the special program of the 2.6 update. However, this event was postponed as the developers were not able to complete the maintenance of Serenitea Pot on time. The teapot realm is still under maintenance but the developers decided to release this event amidst the issue.
During this event, players will meet a researcher from Sumeru named Nazafarin who has come to Monstadt in order to continue with her research work with the seasonings provided from the recipes. The Genshin Impact Spices from the West event will be available on 14th May and players can take part in this event if they hold Adventure Rank 20 or above.
The event will continue till 7th June where the first week of the event will unlock 7 different dishes on each day. Players have to follow the different recipes to create “Fragrant Seasonings”. These seasonings can further add fragrance to different delicious dishes.
Players can invite the characters in the Serenitea Pot realm to earn companionship EXP, however, they will require Adventure Rank 28 or above to have access to the Serenitea Pot. HoYoverse has stated that, If the maintenance of Serenitea Pot Placement Function has ended during the event, Travelers can invite companions who are resting to stay in Serenitea Pot and invite characters to try out food.
This implies that a specific release date for the maintenance end has not been provided. Travelers should take part in the Genshin Impact Spices from the West event in order to know about the maintenance status and obtain rewards such as primogems, hero’s wit and more.
