Genshin Impact Streamer Recruitment Event 2.5 faces criticism

With the release of the 2.5 update named “When the Sakura Bloom”, Genshin Impact players saw the arrival of Electro Catalyst user Yae Miko as well as the return of Genshin Impact Streamer Recruitment Event. Unlike other events, this event is solely made for streamers who can claim free primogems for live streaming their gameplay.
Even though the Genshin Impact Streamer Recruitment Event is a great way to claim free primogems, the 2.5 event was certainly not what the community had expected from the developers. Compared to the previous event, the community feels that the number of primogems provided are very less.
What was shocking to the players is that streamers with even more than 3000 followers were only being given 500 primogems who had to manage their livestream for 15 hours. Several YouTubers expressed their frustration on this and even started spamming on how they should be provided with more rewards.
“The amount of primogems do not make any sense at all, to work for 15 hours you can only get 3 pulls. It should be at least 5000 primogems with this much amount of work”, expressed one prominent YouTuber. This was followed by a series of comments from players who agreed to this fact.
The criticism faced by Genshin Impact Streamer Recruitment Event brought back the memories of the anniversary rewards that were given in Genshin Impact. Almost every player was dissatisfied with the rewards provided to which the developers gave a prompt reply that they have already prepared more celebration rewards.

Genshin Impact Streamer Recruitment Event ends on March 17,2022 and whether the developers will provide a compensation reward on this remains unknown at this moment.
