Genshin Impact unveils Fayz Trials event for 3.0 update’s second phase

New Fayz Trial event in Genshin Impact

The countdown for Genshin Impact 3.0 update’s second phase has already started as countable days are left to see the banner of Ganyu and Kokomi. Amidst this, the developers have announced a new event called ‘Fayz Trials’ which might be fun but it requires strategical moves as well.

The ongoing Graven Innocence event is helping players to explore the wilderness of Sumeru whereas the recently announced Lost Riches event is going to provide players with a mini Seelie for free. On the other hand, the upcoming event will check the tactical skills of the players.

The Fayz Trails event will take place in the Sumeru Akademiya of Genshin Impact. A new event quest will unlock when players will meet the pre-requisites for the event, which will ask them to visit a Researcher at the Akademiya. This new event is set to take place from 8th September and continue till 26th September.

Most of the Travelers will able to participate in this new event as the required quest in this event got released on the game’s initial updates, which implies that players might have completed it by now. However, they require a higher adventure rank-

  • Adventure Rank 20 or above
  • Complete the Archon Quest “Prologue: Act III – Song of the Dragon and Freedom

This Genshin Impact event will be unlocked in different phases, therefore, players need to login to the game on 7 consecutive days if they wish to claim all of the primogems. Although the event will basically bring combat challenges, there seems to be a catch. As showcased during the livestream, players will obtain a ‘Fayz Potion’ that can take them to Time Dilation mode.

Under this mode, players can spot the enemy’s weakness when the challenge is stopped midway. As the challenge resumes, players can obtain a special skill that can help to defeat the enemies at a quicker pace. Travelers should be quite careful on spotting the weakness, as hitting the enemies on weak spots will increase the overall points.

The Genshin Impact Fayz Trials event will reward the players with primogems, Hero’s Wit, Character Level-Up Materials, Weapon Ascension Materials, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and Mora. Travelers can also use trial characters for this event which will already be built to the maximum level.
