Genshin Impact’s 3.0 Update ‘buffed’ elemental resonance of team comps with Hu Tao and Yelan

The gameplay of Genshin Impact has always been dynamic and interesting and currently, it has undergone significant alterations as a result of the Dendro element’s arrival since several Elemental Resonance frequencies have been altered. There will be an Elemental Resonance if there are two characters of the same element or 4 heroes of different elements in a group.

Along with some incredible new reactions, Dendro also increased the potential of certain Meta like Hu Tao and Yelan. Not only are the burn cataclysms and bloom reactions now active, but the team compositions carrying these two broken 5-star units have also significantly increased the elemental resonance.

Genshin Impact: Yelan being buffed in the latest 3.0 Update

Several changes have been made to the current resonances, one of which has a powerful shot and might effect the current Genshin Impact tier list. The Hydro Resonance no longer reduces Pyro effects while also enhancing the party’s healing capabilities. Starting with version 3.0, Hydro Resonance will raise characters’ max vitality by 25% rather than providing a healing benefit that you could easily trigger with Yelan team comps. Not to mention but, the Hydro resonance still does help in nerfing pyro damage but not entirely like previous patches.

The team comps of Genshin Impact highly benefit from elemental resonance, especially National and meta teams and Dendro added a chunk of benefits to this aspect of the game. Assembling your party that includes one/two Dendro characters will allow you the chance to increase your party’s Elemental Mastery by 80 points! this happens when Dendro Resonance occurs.

And I know, many of you guys already have a team comp ready with Kazuha and Xiangling to utilize this elemental mastery boost definitely, the upcoming Spiral Abyss might just bring in this aspect as a blessing in the upcoming patches of Genshin Impact. The electro reactions this time will release electro particles in a greater amount making electro characters like Raiden Shogun more efficient.

This patch 3.0 of Genshin Impact provides a significant benefit for all characters whose skills are based off of their maximum HP. Hu Tao, a Pyro DPS character, and Yelan, a Hydro off-field DPS character, are probably to benefit the most. Hu Tao is rather fragile because she deals the most damage while her health is below 50%. However, after receiving such a significant health boost, she becomes considerably more stable and you may utilize her damaging skills more frequently.
