Get Collei for free in Genshin Impact!
After Shikanoin Heizou, Collei is the latest 4-star unit that is soon going to be added in the game. Being the first female Dendro user in the game, she will appear in the banner of Tighnari. However, players can obtain free Collei in Genshin Impact through the central event of the upcoming version, Graven Innocence.
Collei, the manga character has grown really well in the game as her appearance surprised everyone when her model got leaked in the community. Today, HoYoverse officially revealed the character providing us an insight onto her abilities and talents.
Free Collei in Genshin Impact: Graven Innocence guide
Although the 3.0 Sumeru update is yet to go live on the servers, players have become familiar with the new content and characters that mark the beginning of the new nation of Teyvat, thanks to the special program hosted a week ago. The Sumeru livestream got staggering number of views as the nation was going to be revealed officially for the first.
While players will be getting the chance to summon Collei from the Character Event wishes of Zhongli and Tighnari, we might remind them that they can also claim free Collei in Genshin Impact form the Graven Innocence event. Earlier today, it was announced officially that this event will be available in the game from 24th August and continue till the end of the patch with different phases.

What is the Graven Innocence Event?
A total of 5 new events will be released in the game in the 3.0 update out of which Graven Innocence has stolen the limelight as it provides a free 4-star character who also happens to be a Dendro user. The official description of this event claims that players have to head over to Port Ormos and visit a toy shop, where along with Collei, the Traveler will explore different materials in Sumeru to collect ‘inspiration’. Here are the requirements of this event-
- Adventure Rank 20 or above
- Complete “The Trail of the God of Wisdom” in Archon Quest Chapter III: Act I “Through Mists of Smoke and Forests Dark”
A free Collei in Genshin Impact can be invited once players complete the quest “The Unappreciated Carving”. Under this quest, players will be required to complete the challenges under Meticulous Craftsmanship which will provide them inspiration. The ‘inspiration’ can be obtained in the following ways-
- Taking Snapshots of Sumeru animals and creatures
- Challenge the Electro Regisvine and Jadeplume Terrorshroom
- Racing challenge
- Challenge enemies in the wilderness of Sumeru
Apart from free Collei in Genshin Impact, the additional quests under this event will provide the players with ‘Creative Notes’ and ‘Whimsical Drafts’ which can be exchanged for the following rewards in the event shop
- Carving Components (new gadget to collect wood)
- Primogems
- Crown of Insight
- Character Level-Up Materials
- Talent Level-Up Materials
The Graven Innocence event looks quite intriguing in the 3.0 update as not only it will help the players to get a better idea of the environment of Sumeru and its enemies but also help them to add a Dendro unit in their team, in case they are unable to obtain Tighnari from the banner. This event will also bring some never-heard stories on Collei, so be prepared.
