How to get new skins for Ningguang and Keqing in Genshin Impact 2.4 update?

As Genshin Impact holds a huge set of characters with unique appearance and abilities, players often desire to have new skins for their characters. MiHoYo had announced that with the Genshin Impact 2.4 update, players will be able to get new skins for the female characters, Ningguang and Keqing.

Genshin Impact 2.4 update was deemed to be the best update ever released for the game as of now. The new update that was released on January 5^th brought two new characters, Shenhe and Yun Jin and will also rerun the character banners of Zhongli and Ganyu. In addition to that, players will be able to see the most popular event, Lantern Rite festival which is going to add new skins for Ningguang and Keqing. Here is how to obtain them.

Genshin Impact 2.4 update: Get new skins for Ningguang and Keqing

Ningguang (Orchid’s Evening Gown)

Ningguang also known as the ‘Lady of the Jade Chamber’ is a Geo character that can be obtained from Wishes or from Paimon’s Bargain in the Shop. Her default outfit ‘Gold Leaf and Pearly Jade’ consists of a mixture of white and golden colors that is some what similar to her attack forms. Players have been demanding new skins for a while now and apparently, Ningguang will get a new skin called ‘Orchid’s Evening Gown’.

Her formal outfit looks similar in appearance to her previous outfit, however, the developes have added a different color and designed it in accordance to the Lantern Rite Festival event. Players can obtain her new skin for free when Fleeting Colors of Flight (Lantern Rite Festival) is released on January 25^th. Her new skin will later be available in the Character Outfit shop which can be purchased with Genesis Crystals after the end of Genshin Impact 2.4 update.

Keqing (Opulent Splendor)

Keqing is a five-star Electro character from Liyue. She is a permanent character that can be obtained through character banners. Keqing’s default outfit, Piercing Thunderbolt consists a mixture of purple colours. Her new or alternate outfit ‘Opulent Splendor’ has added a design similar to the butterflies’ wings.

This outfit is currently available in the Character outfit shop at a discount of 20%. Players can purchase the outfit for 1350 genesis crystals. Towards the end of Genshin Impact 2.4 update, Keqing’s new skin will cost 1680 crystals.

Ningguang and Keqing’s skins in Genshin Impact are a permanent addition and both of the outfits have been designed in the Lantern Rite Festival’s theme. Prior to this, the developers had added permanent skins for Jean and Barbara with summer season theme.
