Xiao will soon be having his rerun
Xiao is one of the most powerful 5-star characters to exist in the game right now. Surprisingly, he is having a rerun in Genshin Impact 2.7 update after a span of only 2 updates as his first rerun in 2022 occured in the 2.4 update along with the Cryo character, Shenhe.
Xiao will apparently be seen in the first phase of the 2.7 update along with Yelan, an upcoming Hydro bow user in Genshin Impact. His rerun is somewhat justified as Travelers will engage in a quest where they will be to gather information on the Electro Yaksha that went missing after the Archon War. If players are planning to pull for the Anemo character, they should gather the mentioned resources.

Key materials to farm for Xiao in Genshin Impact 2.7 update
According to the leaks, Xiao’s banner will consist of Noelle, Barbara and Yanfei. If Travelers manage to pull for him, these materials will be required to bring out the full potential of Xiao.
Juvenile Jade
Required: 46
Juvenile Jade is a crystal shaped substance that is required for ascension of the character. It is a guaranteed drop item by Primo Geovishap who is located in Liyue. Xiao needs 46 Juvenile Jades, therefore, players might have to fight the Geovishap a number of times to obtain the required item.
Vayuda Turquoise
Required: 1 Sliver, 9 Fragment,9 Chunk, 6 Gemstone
Just like every Anemo character, Xiao in Genshin Impact 2.7 update will be required to fight Anemo bosses in order to obtain his character ascension materials. Players can acquire the above mention materials from Anemo Hypostatsis and Maguu Kenki who can be found in Monstadt and Inazuma respectively.
Qingxin
Required: 168
A local speciality of Liyue, Qingxin flowers can be found spread around several locations of the Geo nation. Players should even collect some extra flowers as this material is required by most of the Liyue characters. Primarily, locations like Wuwang Hill and Qingyun peak are ideal for finding these flowers.
Slime
Required: 18 Condensate, 30 Secretions, 36 Concentrate
Farming this item for Xiao’s rerun in Genshin Impact 2.7 update is quite easy as players will just require to kill slimes which are found usually near the water bodies. Condensate is dropped by any slime hopping around whereas Secretions are dropped by level 40 and higher slimes. Concentrates are dropped by Level 60+.
Shadow of the Warrior
Required: 18
Genshin Impact 2.7 update Xiao rerun will also require 18 shadow warriors in order to maximize his talent level. In order to obtain this rare item, players need to fight Childe in the Enter the Golden House Trounce Domain when set to level 70 or higher. However, players might be required to complete some quests before entering this domain.
