As Sumeru has brought the Dendro element with itself, players might be ardently waiting to claim characters with the Dendro vision. As the drop guarantee of new characters is quite rare, players can use the Dendro Traveler in Genshin Impact in order to experiment with the new elemental reactions.

Traveler, who is the main protagonist of the game’s lore does not have any specific vision. This might be a blessing in a curse as it helps Aether or Lumine to resonate with any element of their choice and unlock their new abilities.

How to unlock the Dendro Traveler in Genshin Impact 3.0 update?

While the Traveler embarks on their journey to find their lost sibling with the Anemo element, they are eventually able to unlock the elements through the Statue of Seven of each playable nation in the game. Before the 3.0 update, Traveler was able to have the abilities of Anemo, Geo and Electro elements but now players can finally become the Dendro Traveler in Genshin Impact.

To be able to equip the Dendro vision, Travelers must enter the Sumeru nation which can be done after reaching the teleport waypoint of Cinnabar Cliff at The Chasm and crossing the mining area to reach the nearest Statue of Seven. It is important to note here that players do not need to complete or start any specific quest in order to unlock the new element.

Two important steps, should however be done if players wish to get the Dendro Traveler in Genshin Impact-

  • Head to Sumeru’s Statue of Seven and Equip the Traveler in your party
  • Click on Resonate with Dendro

Players can unlock the achievement ‘The Essence of Flora’ after resonating with Dendro. They will also notice a change in the outfit donned by the Traveler as it will turn green in some places, which apparently represents the Dendro element. The Dendro Traveler comes with its own abilities and talents which we will discuss below.

Elemental Skill (E)

The elemental skill of the Traveler named ‘Razorsharp Blade’ will unleash a set of sharp leaves against the enemies, enabling the Dendro Traveler in Genshin Impact 3.0 to provide Dendro DMG.

Elemental Burst (Q)

Surgent Manifestation or the Elemental Burst will summon a Lea Lotus Lamp which will provide off-field Dendro DMG to the enemies on a frequent basis. This burst will be extremely helpful for Pyro, Electro or Hydro characters.

As the Traveler is a 5-star character in Genshin Impact, players should not hesitate to build the character, in case they do not have any other Dendro unit in their team right now.
