How to unlock the underground mines of Chasm in Genshin Impact?

The 2.6 patch has brought a new Hydro character for the players as well as added a new area named Chasm in Genshin Impact. This area is quite unique since it is divided into the surface and underground mines which require some procedures to unlock. Players will be able to find new enemies, artifacts as well as take part in a whole new quest to explore the depths of The Chasm and underground dark mines.

Chasm in Genshin Impact is one of the major attraction of the 2.6 update, Zephyr of the Violet Garden but players need to fulfill some requirements in order to unlock the undergrounds mines. This article shall discuss the process of unlocking the mines of Chasm.

Chasm in Genshin Impact guide

Chasm in Genshin Impact is located to the west of Lisha with a strange terrain and unique geological conditions. It has previously been referred to by several NPCs which led fans to wait ardently for the region. Chasm is quite different from the previously released area, Enkanomiya as players will be able to explore the deep mines of the region.

For entering Chasm, players need to participate in the world quest, Surreptitious seven-star seal sundering. This quest requires the players to talk with a NPC named Zhiqiong, destroy the treasure hoarders as wel las the nearby bedrock keys. Completing these steps will further direct the players to meet Muning.

Players further need to destroy the bedrock keys which is unique mechanism of Chasm in Genshin Impact .We recommend a Geo character like Zhongli to destroy the keys. Moreover, players will be required to defeat some enemies in the meanwhile and hit the cage shaped objects in some areas in order to destroy the keys quickly.

The cage-shaped objects will be found in different places and players need to travel at each different place in order to destroy the bedrock keys thrice. It is important to note that the cage shaped objects can only be activated after one is able to destroy the unique rocks scattered in different places.

At the end of this quest, players need to destroy the final bedrock key where they need to be a little moreaware as they will find the new enemies of Chasm in Genshin Impact. Destroying the final key will take the players back to Muning and unlock the underground mines.

Players can further have access to the other world quests of Chasm in Genshin Impact as well as partially unlock the new Archon Quest involving Dainsleif named “Requiem of the Echoing Depths”.
