Is Kazuha having a rerun banner in Genshin Impact 2.6 update?

MiHoYo had announced the livestream date for Genshin Impact 2.6 update earlier today which hints on the fact that the new update is not much far away. Kamisato Ayato, the Hydro character will become playable from the first phase of the update but the rerun characters are a big mystery as of now.

Considering the 42 day cycle of update roll outs, it is highly possible that the Genshin Impact 2.6 update will be pushed out on the servers from March 30 as the current rerun banners is also concluding on the previous day. Similar to the current update, the next one’s main focus will revolve around Inazuma with a special festival possibly.

Genshin Impact 2.6 update rerun characters

A reliable leaker of Genshin Impact had stated that the rerun character for the first phase of Genshin Impact 2.6 update will be the Anemo Archon Barbatos who goes by the name Venti in the game. This implies that similar to the 2.3 and 2.4 updates, the first phase will consist of dual banners.

While Ayato’s release in the first half of the update was confirmed by the developers themselves, the arrival of Anemo character Venti was quite a surprise for the players as there was always some dilemma surrounding around the rerun of Kazuha and Venti due to Spiral Abyss leaks describing 75% Anemo blessing at Floor 13.

The weapon banner for the first phase of Genshin Impact 2.6 update has also been revealed as players will be able to see the signature weapons of both of the characters scheduled for the first phase. However, the main question that remains are the characters getting a rerun at the second phase.

As of now, the most possible appearance during the second phase is of Ayaka, the younger sister of Kamisato Ayato. The chibi figure of the Kamisato siblings confirms that she will be present on the rerun banner at the second phase of Genshin Impact 2.6 update. The second rerun character at this phase is revolving around Kazuha and Yoimiya and now even Albedo.

While most of the leakers have stated that Kazuha will get his rerun banner in the next update, fans are speculating that the developers might not release rerun characters of the Anemo element at the second phase as Venti is already appearing with Ayato. Some other leakers have claimed that Yoimiya might appear since she is related with fireworks which goes with Inazuman festival.

There have also been rumors about Albedo rerun since he appeared in a leaked image where he could be seen standing with Ayato, Traveler and Paimon. However, a possible reason for this could be his appearance in the Inazuman festival even though he belongs from the Liyue nation.

The second rerun character with Ayaka in Genshin Impact 2.6 update second phase remains questionable. While Kazuha has the upper hand, the appearance of Yoimiya should not be ruled out completely.
