The release of Genshin Impact Chasm is just a few days away as the special program of the 2.6 update had been aired a day ago. The new update is bringing a new Hydro character named Ayato as well as an area named The Chasm whose gameplay mechanics has been officially revealed today.

Genshin Impact Chasm is the new area after Enaknomiya that will be added to the Liyue nation. In this area, there are many cranes that have been left by the Travelers. In addition, there is a jumping enhancement mechanic named sproutrocks that can help the players to jump and reach higher places easily. However, players should be alert while stepping on these rocks as they will trigger the jumping mechanic any moment.


2) Bedrock Key

The Liyue Qixing present in Genshin Impact Chasm sets up a few magical arrays around the new area. If Travelers wish to explore The Chasm, they need to dispel these setups The hint here is to destroy the Bedrock Keys that surround the area.


3) Cage-Shaped Geo Formations

These unique rock pillars have been kept under the puzzle mechanics. When these rocks are hit by a blunt force, they can cause a resonant shake with other rock pillars. These resonances should be observed by the Travelers in order to solve the puzzles.

These unique rocks are connected to the unique pillars as they receive certain resonance from those pillars. Travelers might find another puzzle mechanic once they encounter these unique rocks.


6) Plate Pressure

In Genshin Impact Chasm, players will be able to see faint glowing pyramids in the air when a certain mechanism is triggered. Travelers can follow the direction of the glowing pyramid’s extension and find the traces of Treasure Chests present in the nearby area.
