Genius Invokation TCG: Genshin Impact’s upcoming PvP mode
The second phase of the 3.0 update has begun with Dori becoming the second Electro healer to be playable in the game. Aside from that, the community has been getting frequent leaks on upcoming character Kaveh as well as the new trading card game which has been named as ‘Genius Invokation’.
The card game apparently originated from Sumeru, which got unlocked during the 3.0 update. Researches from Sumeru Akademiya assisted on making this game which is widely popular around Inazuma as well as Sumeru. Players might have heard bout this game from the one and oni, Arataki Itto.
As per the new leaks, the TCG game mode will be available from the 3.3 update which is scheduled to release during the month of December as the updates were shortened. Ubatcha, a prominent leaker in the community has revealed a fragment of information on this new mode which has been discussed below.

How will the TCG mode work?
The player vs player mode in Genshin Impact is going to be a digital card game where both sides (player+opponent) will be able to draw out 5 cards and play with two in-game characters. It has been mentioned that some characters are going to have their own cards but it might be too soon to label them as accurate.
The game will be played in different rounds where both the players will be given chances to roll 8 elemental dices. The eighth element is apparently an omni element that can go with any of the regular 7 elements. One of the interesting aspect of the game will be playing against characters like Fischl and Cyno, who will come with a friendly and serious version.
The PvP mode in Genshin Impact, will of course come with its own rewards as players will be able to increase their rank from advanced to legend as they progress through the game completing challenges on their way. The challenges will mostly be handed out on a weekly basis.
Set in the open world of Teyvat, Genshin Impact generally asks players to compete in solo mode while going on an adventure with some exceptions being provided during Co-op events. Therefore, the release of a player vs player mode might become an instant hit on its addition.
