From the Genshin Impact 3.0 update, Traveler’s new destination for finding their lost sibling will be Sumeru, a nation divided into beautiful rainforest as well as a dangerous desert.

5 major features in Genshin Impact 3.0 update
As confirmed by the officials, the Genshin Impact 3.0 update will release on 24th August marking the beginning of Sumeru Arc. Most of the Sumeru content will be given in the 3.0-3.2 update, therefore, there is no question regarding skipping these updates. Players might find more reasons to jump into Sumeru after they take a look at these upcoming features-
New Region
As an obvious fact, the 3.0 update named ‘The Morn A Thousand Roses Bring is going to add a new region to the game. Teyvat’s map will expand and players can travel to the west off Liyue to head over to Sumeru, a nation divided in the lush green forests and a desert. Although, it is important to note that the initial updates will only unlock the Rainforest area.
New Events
Another aspect that keeps the Travelers hooked on to the game is the new events. With the Genshin Impact 3.0 update, players can not only obtain primogems but a free Dendro character as well. These events will be necessary in the course of the update, so make sure to defeat every single enemy or explore every area asked in the event.
New Equipments
Travelers will be obtaining 5 new craftable weapons which implies that 5 new 4-star weapons will be given to the players for free. However, it is yet to know how can these weapons be obtained or crafted in the game. Apart from these weapons, Tighnari’s signature bow as well as another 4-star bow will be added to the game.
Special artifacts increasing the Dendro DMG or Elemental Mastery will also be available starting from this new patch, helping players to build their Dendro characters easily.

New characters
Any update of the game will be incomplete if players do not get new characters. Therefore, players should gear up for the release of playable Dendro characters for the first time in the Genshin Impact 3.0 update. In this update, we are getting not one but three new characters and much to the surprise, each of the character’s gameplay looks quite intriguing.
Quality of Life changes
Several QoL changes have been made to this new update such as the Artifact Strongboxes. These boxes will provide an extra artifact in exchange to the previous ones that were present before the 1.2 update. Aside from this, new gadgets will be added that will help the players in basic tasks such as cutting wood or catching fishes.
