Yelan in Genshin Impact is a new Hydro character who uses bow as her weapon and looked quite strong, capable to become a DPS character in the game.

Many players are comparing the character with Xingqiu who uses almost similar Hydro application on and off field. However, there are certain reasons that make her worth pulling in the game.

The 5-star Hydro character had maintained an aloof personality in the game until now but in the 2.7 update, she is ready to take on the enemies as well as uncover the secrets of The Chasm, the newly opened area.

Better version of Xingqiu

As mentioned earlier, Yelan has been compared with the 4-star Hydro character Xingqiu but in reality she is far better than him even at C0. To achieve the damage and skills of Yelan, Xingqiu needs to claim his maximum constellation whereas with Yelan, players can get a significant amount of damage with just one pull on Yelan.

Unique elemental skill

Compared to the other newly released character, Yelan in Genshin Impact has quite a different elemental skill that provides her extreme mobility during combat. Not only mobility, she can ensnare the surrounding enemies with a blue string and these enemies will further receive Hydro DMG which is really good for crowd control of Cryo characters.

Easy to build

Yelan in Genshin Impact can be quite easy to build as her artifacts can be farmed quite easily. Even though, Aqua Simulacra is her signature weapon, players can use some other good CRIT based bows on Yelan to make her a good DPS character. Players can also stack some HP based artifacts on her if they aren’t a veteran player as it will help in scaling the DMG of the character.

Insanely strong at C6

Spending your time on Yelan might be worth it as her playstyle undergoes some great changes when she receives her maximum constellation. Yelan at C6 can turn her Normal attacks into charged shots that scales off her HP. This makes her a broken character quite similar to the Cryo character Ganyu.

Last but not the least, Yelan in Genshin Impact has quite an elegant personality that reflects in her gameplay as well. Right from her Normal attacks to her elemental burst, Yelan’s animation is quite unique and fun to play as well. If you have been saving primogems for a long time, then pulling Yelan is the right choice.
