HoYoverse recently announced the events that are going to be a part of the second phase of the 2.6 update. Several fans have pointed out that the developers skipped the Genshin Impact Spices from the West Event and brought a new event for the player in place of that. Now the question arises, when will players be able to see this new event in the game.
Genshin Impact had a packed up content for the 2.6 update named “Zephyr of the Violet Garden”. From introducing The Chasm to releasing new as well as old events with new elements, players have been enjoying the patch thoroughly. However, a recent change has irked some players.

Genshin Impact Spices from the West Event release date
Travelers might be aware about this fact that HoYoverse had announced that the Serenitea Pot function will remain under maintenance once the 2.6 update goes live. Players were provided with compensation for the maintenance schedule but as the 2.6 update is about to conclude within a few weeks, the Serenitea Pot function still remains inaccessible.
The Genshin Impact Spices from the West Event was announced in the special program of the 2.6 update where it was revealed that a person from Sumeru will visit Liyue to conduct research on a certain brand. Travelers who like to spend some time in cooking would certainly like this event as they need to make seasoning dishes as well as test the dishes for the person.
Travelers would agree to the fact that the Genshin Impact Spices from the West Event looked a fun cooking event but unfortunately it appears that HoYoverse has taken down the event in this update for a certain reason. The most likely reason for this seems that players had to provide the food to their companions in Serenitea Pot and as the maintenance is still not concluded, the event has been taken down.
In place of the Genshin Impact Spices from the West Event, Travelers will see Ley Line Overflow and Marvelous Merchandise Event. While the former event that is getting a rerun was announced already in the special program, the Marvelous Merchandise became a new addition in the current update and became a replacement of the spices event.
Fans were looking forward to the Genshin Impact Spices from the West Event as it might given them some information about the Dendro Archon nation named Sumeru. However, it looks like the event has been shifted to 2.7 update which means it’s release could be seen around the first week of May. It will be intriguing to see whether the developers issue more primogems as a compensation.
