Genshin Impact Xiao banner rerun: Several rumors regarding the 2.7 update getting delayed have been floating around the internet for a long time. Moreover, the recent leaks have claimed an upcoming Genshin Impact Xiao banner rerun in the middle of the current and upcoming update of the game.

Rerun banners in the game provide an additional chance to the players to obtain 5-star characters which they were not able to do earlier. If Xiao rerun happens soon, players are certain to shell out primogems to obtain the Anemo character.

The current update of the game named “Zephyr of the Violet Garden” is scheduled to end on 10th May as it will be the last day of Ayaka’s rerun banner. Ayaka’s rerun is expected to be released on 19th April and the 4-star characters had also been revealed by the official themselves.

However, the second event phase of the 2.6 update shows that the Spices from the West event has been scrapped and instead of that players will be able to see the “Marvelous Merchandise” Event. A surprising thing about this new event is that it apparently ends on 13th May which is three days after the end of Ayaka rerun banner.

This has led players to believe that during this gap, Travelers might see Genshin Impact Xiao banner rerun which will apparently be a filler banner before Yelan becomes playable in the game. Another major leak that support this claim has been given by BLANK who revealed that “Xiao will be one of the main characters in the new Perilous Trail Chapter Storyline for Version 2.7”.

Previous claims of Genshin Impact Xiao banner rerun were also made when it was revealed that The Chasm might introduce a new Yaksha and Xiao’s involvement is obvious since he is a the Anemo Yaksha himself. On the other hand, BLANK has also stated that it is not completely sure that Genshin Impact Xiao banner rerun will be seen in the game just because he is involved with the story.

Xiao, the 5-star Anemo character had his rerun banner in the 2.4 update when Shenhe, the Cryo character became playable. Players are also speculating that Itto’s rerun banner will be seen in place of Xiao due to the arrival of Kuki Shinobu, the Deputy Magistrate of Arataki Gang.

This claim seems less possible since Kuki Shinobu is a 4-star character and is likely to appear in the Itto rerun banner in the second phase of 2.7 update. However, players should note that no official claims of Genshin Impact Xiao rerun banner have been made as of now.
